Visual.Net Email Settings

We have recently made changes to our servers. You will need to update your email settings. Below are the new settings for Netscape Communicator.
Other email settings are: Eudora and Outlook / Outlook Express. If your program is not listed here, or is a different version, the settings are:
Incoming server: visual.net
Outgoing server: visual.net

Netscape Communicator

  1. Open up Netscape Communicator

  2. On the Menu bar click on Edit

  3. From the dropdown menu choose Accounts
    A new window will open titled 'Internet Accounts'

  4. On the category on the left choose Preferences

  5. Click on the little + beside Mail & Newsgroups as in
    +Mail & Newsgroups

  6. Click on Mail Servers

  7. Under Incoming mail Server click on Edit

  8. If Server Name is mail.pacificcoast.net or mail.visual.net
    Change it to visual.net

  9. Click Ok

  10. If the Outgoing Mail Server is mail.pacificcoast.net or mail.visual.net
    Change it to visual.net
    If it is something else, such as shaw or telus, leave it alone

  11. Click Ok

  12. Check your email as usual

  13. You will be asked for your password. Put in your usual password. Note that is is case sensitive. If you do not know your password, contact us
