Microsoft Outlook Express email settings of Visual.Net email address accounts
If you are having trouble sending or receiving e-mail, you will need to update your email settings as outlined below:- Open up Outlook Express
- On the Menu bar click on Tools
- From the dropdown menu choose Accounts A new window will open titled 'Internet Accounts'
- Select the Mail tab
- Under 'Account' highlight your vreb.bc.ca account
- Click on Properties on the right
A new window will open - Select the Servers tab
- Ensure Incoming POP 3 is visual.net
- Ensure Outgoing mail (SMTP) is visual.net
- On the Advanced tab, ensure the Outgoing (SMTP) is 587 and not 25
- Click Apply
- Click Ok
- Click Close
- Check your mail as usual.
