Visual.Net Email Settings

We have recently made changes to our servers. You will need to update your email settings. Below are the new settings for Outlook / Outlook Express.
Other email settings are: Eudora and Netscape Communicator. If your program is not listed here, or is a different version, the settings are:
Incoming server: visual.net
Outgoing server: visual.net

Outlook and Outlook Express Settings

  1. Open up Outlook Express

  2. On the Menu bar click on Tools

  3. From the dropdown menu choose Accounts
    A new window will open titled 'Internet Accounts'

  4. Select the Mail tab

  5. Under 'Account' highlight your visual.net account

  6. Click on Properties on the right
    A new window will open

  7. Select the Servers tab

  8. If Incoming mail (POP3) is mail.pacificcoast.net or mail.visual.net
    Change it to visual.net

  9. If Outgoing mail (SMTP) is mail.pacificcoast.net or mail.visual.net
    Change it to visual.net
    If it is something else, such as shaw or telus, leave it alone

  10. Click Apply

  11. Click Ok

  12. Click Close

  13. Check your mail as usual
